How Do I Find A Product To Promote?

Have you ever considered affiliate marketing? You're probably wondering where  to get started or if you care anything about your reputation for future purposes you're wondering how do I choose good products to promote? I've experienced the same problem as well, therefore today I will be giving you a few good ways to choose the best product to promote.

Don't Promote It If You Wouldn't Buy It

The product you choose should be something you're interested in and something that you'd be compelled to buy yourself. Even more important is making sure there demand for the product. You can check the demand for a product by doing keyword research. Remember you want high search volume and low competition. Make sure the site you're choosing doesn't have too many distractions such as leak links and you want the page to be concise about the reason the visitor is there and what is expected of them to do next.

Contact Us

Remember when choosing a product your livelihood is tied into that product as well and you want people that trust in you to get the best of the best. Check to see how responsive management is when there's an issue. Submit an issue and see how long it takes you to get and email reply and/or call. The worst thing is taking a risk an buying a product then feeling like your up the creek with no paddle when you have questions.

Is The Site A Converter

You'll need to determine just how much the site is converting visitors. This is ofter referred to as the conversion rate.  Which is basically our of 100 visitors how many of them sign up/buy what you are offering. A Fairly descent conversion rate is 3%. Just because the site's offering a high commission doesn't mean it's actually converting and if it's not converting that means no commission for you.

Send It Back

The last thing I'll cover today is the reversal rate. The reversal rate will tell you how offer products or returned or cancelled. This is important to you because if the products are returned 60-70 percent of the time then how likely are you to profit from being an affiliate to this site. I hope you found this article useful. Stay tuned, next time I'm writing on how to get traffic from Google +.
