One thing that I vividly recall being a problem from me is knowing what and when to send to my email list. Another problem was simply knowing how to manage my list and if that was even that important to my business's success( trust me it is).
The first thing is just figuring how to email your list. You can email your list as frequently as you need as long as you're delivering value. I can't stress it enough. When you're delivering value over being delivering to the flashy object (misleading) viewers you're building a solid following.
Avoid up-sales in email after email unless you're promoting something you're truly expecting to sale big for you.
Don't be afraid of unsubscribes. Having people unsubscribe it's always a bad thing I'm finding out; if you're doing what your list expected from you when they signed up. What this does is makes your email list a more active and receptive one.
Maybe I'm getting a bit ahead of myself. First we need to figure out who needs to see which emails. For instance you wouldn't want your first email to someone who's just signed up to your list to be an sale would you(no)?
Determine if it's better for you to have separate lists for separate projects or if the products you promoting are fairly similar it may be best to have one list broken down into groups based on interest.
Now we just need to determine is there a best time day/hour to mail your list? It's said that if you email your list too much they're likely to unsubscribe. This is not always true if again you are delivering content of value to them. Likewise if you don't email your list enough they will forget you. So is there a specific time to email your list, no, not exactly but you have to test your list see which days they open your mail more, and use it going forward. I hope you enjoyed this article.
Kind regards
