Common Mistakes In Internet Marketing
Hello out there! By now I'm certain you've been to a ton a pages an blogs telling you everything you need to do to be a successful internet marketer(blah blah). Don't get me wrong there is some very valuable information out there.
However, personally, I always wished I had some one to tell me what to avoid doing in this business to fail. Well, very quickly I've prepared a short article with some tips on exactly what not to do in this business if you want to become successful.
However, personally, I always wished I had some one to tell me what to avoid doing in this business to fail. Well, very quickly I've prepared a short article with some tips on exactly what not to do in this business if you want to become successful.
Taking Shots in the Dark
What I mean by this is simply just looking to sale any and everything. It may seem like a good idea at first "If I put a product out there where people can see it they'll buy it", but honestly you're not a familiar brand to them. Not to mention they don't know you from any other Tom, Dick, or Harry on the street so why would they want to buy from you? You need to discover your area of expertise and appeal to a core audience.
Not Being a Watcher of Statistics
For every social media post you share, video you upload, forum you contribute to; you need to track your progress. This is the best way to find out what works for you and what's a waste of your time and effort.
Working Hard Not Smart
You should take time out see what other marketers are blogging about. See how they're incorporating their personalities into their posts and feed out it. It's not always who works the hardest that comes out on top sometimes it's who works the smartest. I hope these quick tips were helpful for you!

Getting The Most Out Of Sharing Videos
Do you have a youtube, vimeo, or daily motion account? If you've created a few videos there, like me, you've probably have noticed getting people to actually view your videos isn't always the easiest thing to do.
I spent months trying to figure out why some of the most senseless( in my opinion) videos get so much attention and my videos got very little notoriety.
Well, I run into a wall a few times I start to try and devise a method to get around it. Today, I'm going to share with you what helped me get more subscribers as well as more video views and most importantly high quality traffic!
Take Charge
Tell the viewer exactly what the video is about, why they are viewing the video now, and what to do next. For instant, in the video say " Thank you for checking out my video!" " This video is all about ........" "Please click the link in the description box to grab your free ...... today!" Do you see how you're walking the viewer step by step to exactly where you want them to go(Awesome! I know you do).
Sale It To Me
In the video tell the viewer exactly what they're getting. Let them know how it's a benefit to them and the page or products value. Also just a hint people tend to want things more when they think it's available for a limited amount of time, thus, please use that information to your advantage.
Be Descriptive
Use your description box to tell the customer what to expect when clicking the url. Following that will be the actual url to your site. Then you want to write a brief description of what your video is about.
Importance of Titling
Okay we know the most important thing to your video's success is the actual video, but you also have to get them to view the video first. That's where your title comes in. The title should be brief yet descriptive of what you're video is about. Also make sure your title stands out. If your niche is a profitable one I guarantee your video is not the only one on the subject( I had to drill this in my head). Think about what sets your video apart from the competition and put it in the title. I hope you found this article helpful. I enjoyed writing it.
Kind Regards

Forum Marketing and Highly Targeted Traffic
Hi! If you've been researching and considering or even started an internet marketing business then it's extremely likely you've heard a lot about forums. A forum is an online discussion board. If you've visited them before you've likely asked yourself " Why should I join one? " " What's in it for me?" Well that's exactly what this article is going to cover.
The first thing you must understand is that absolutely no one who is successful in this business now started that way. Just like you sacrifice, hard work, and research had to be done so that the individual could emerge on top in this business. A forum is a great place to do your research, sacrifice time, as well as do a little hard work.
You'll find that in forums there are other people interested in your niche as well. When everyone is sharing and throwing ideas about it's not very hard to grab a few from there and use them in advancing your internet marketing business.
Forums are also a great way to get people to your website. Most forums allow you to setup a signature. In your signature you should include a back link to your squeeze page or blog. It depends on where you want your quality traffic to go. This is what marketers refer to as highly targeted traffic.
With forums you don't always have to wait for an answer from your mentor or a guru. You can simply start a thread in an active forum and watch how quickly you get responses(a few of them may even be helpful ;)) . Alway remember it's better to stay active and to become solution oriented because as you build trust through the forum more people are intrigued to visit your website and sign-up and/or buy from you.
Also forums are a great way to keep up with everything that going on in the world of your niche. Updates, new products, and ideas can all be found in an active forum.
Another perk is how motivated you become to do research and to stay relevant and have a long standing career in Internet Marketing this is a necessity. Forums increase your visibility on the web. The more your reputation grows as the person that has the answer or will find the answer the more highly targeted traffic you get. I hope this article reaches you well! I encourage you if you haven't already to join just a couple active forums in your niche, introduce yourself, and become involved. You'll love the results!
Kind Regards

How Do I Find A Product To Promote?
Have you ever considered affiliate marketing? You're probably wondering where to get started or if you care anything about your reputation for future purposes you're wondering how do I choose good products to promote? I've experienced the same problem as well, therefore today I will be giving you a few good ways to choose the best product to promote.
Don't Promote It If You Wouldn't Buy It
The product you choose should be something you're interested in and something that you'd be compelled to buy yourself. Even more important is making sure there demand for the product. You can check the demand for a product by doing keyword research. Remember you want high search volume and low competition. Make sure the site you're choosing doesn't have too many distractions such as leak links and you want the page to be concise about the reason the visitor is there and what is expected of them to do next.
Contact Us
Remember when choosing a product your livelihood is tied into that product as well and you want people that trust in you to get the best of the best. Check to see how responsive management is when there's an issue. Submit an issue and see how long it takes you to get and email reply and/or call. The worst thing is taking a risk an buying a product then feeling like your up the creek with no paddle when you have questions.
Is The Site A Converter
You'll need to determine just how much the site is converting visitors. This is ofter referred to as the conversion rate. Which is basically our of 100 visitors how many of them sign up/buy what you are offering. A Fairly descent conversion rate is 3%. Just because the site's offering a high commission doesn't mean it's actually converting and if it's not converting that means no commission for you.
Send It Back
The last thing I'll cover today is the reversal rate. The reversal rate will tell you how offer products or returned or cancelled. This is important to you because if the products are returned 60-70 percent of the time then how likely are you to profit from being an affiliate to this site. I hope you found this article useful. Stay tuned, next time I'm writing on how to get traffic from Google +.

Email Marketing- Where To Begin?
Hello! Tim here again to talk to you about a popular but yet very underrated form of marketing. Namely, email marketing.
"Is email marketing really that important to my small business?' Absolutely! Studies show that 97% of small business use email marketing as an avenue to reach out to customers. It's important to have good campaign open rates, but it's even more important that what you email your customer is useful to them.
There's definitely power in personalizing your emails as well. Using your name in the sender line creates a personal vibe between you and your customer as well as using a subject line that doesn't seem like a scam or a sale. This can decrease your open rate. Example using "Success Ebook- 10% off" vs "Click here- This ebook benefits you" can mean the difference of if your email is opened or sent to the trash.
When preparing to send an email out always think if one of the email lists I'm subscribed to send this email out with this same subject line would I open it. As in the immortal words of Ian Bass " You want the sender line to be leading, but not misleading" If you're advertising a surefire plan in your subject line that's certainly what should be in your email.
Make a realistic plan for your email marketing Campaign. Set objectives of what you plan on accomplishing through the year. Don't be afraid to have a routine where certain days you send out tips and advice and others you send out sales and promotions. You have to be assertive in this business. Testing the water can help you find which times are better to sale as an end result.
Treat your email list like their V.I.P. Give them information and insight they can't find on your blog or landing page. Go into detail and give them something to look forward to in your next email. This is also referred to as setting expectations. I hope you find this information helpful and I hope this article helps you take your email marketing campaign to the next level.
