Rethinking strategies and moving forward

Hi, Tim here again. As you may recall on my last update I was going through the emotional shock of having my first unsubscriber. Now I'm focusing on trying my best not to have more.

Although it is very important to me not to have unsubscribers it's equally if not more important to me to have an active email list. For instance, it's fantastic to have a large email mailing list but if they never open your emails, they never see your content, therefore you'll never build a relationship with them.

Now if you don't know much about this business I can save you a bunch of time and tell you it's all about relationships.  Relationships as in the people you buy from, the people you team up with, and the people you sale to.

From a buyer's perspective let's say you click a link looking to solve a particular problem and when you get there it's a sales page how likely are you to buy the product right then(not likely). Well other people tend the feel the same way also.

With this been said I'm learning to treat my email list like golden eggs(precious). The problem I'm facing now is making sure my emails are being viewed by the people I'm sending them too.

Now this is tricky because a number of things can cause people not to open your email. It could be anything from your email not standing out, the subject line is not leading enough, or even that your mail is going into the junk/spam folder.

So as soon as I'm done writing this I'm going to do a few tests to see what's the cause. I'm going to use some of their email clients as well as see which email subject lines lead me into opening them. I'll let you know how it works out.

Kind Regards
